I am indeed very glad for the HSMP holders. I just feel sorry for myself that despite being highly-skilled (even according to the latest Home Office's PBS), I am unable to take ILR as I was on WP when the 4 to 5 years legislation came into effect :( |

I propose that all migrants who have been affected by the unfaire practices of Liam Byrne-In-Hell immigration clown of the governemnt should pursue a class action suit against him to pay for the damages for lost wages and emotional distress caused by this |

As HSMP visa holder I am so happy to know that someone is fighting for us. I bought a flat in London with the prospect of living her permanently. If my extention got refused, in the current market it might take me years to sell it and go home. |

These retrospective changes are not just unfair but have destroyed a career and life...I was made to belive and trust in this system and now without even giving us enough time to adapt to these changes we are being hit..! is it because I'm coloured...? |

Congrats to HSMP forum for fighting this out. My question remains - does this mean that I can apply for an ILR after 4 years as was promised to me in my original HSMP application ? Any feedback appreciated. Thanks. |

Where the big doubt is now hanging around in the minds of the people who want to come and settle as well as invest in the UK is now becoming a very big decision for every individual. This is because of uncertain decisions/rules taken by the UK Home Office |
